Clean line aesthetics evoking New England Farmhouse. Simple geometric forms. Clean line interiors.
Balance of: interior versus exeterior. Public (Studio and Road) versus Private (Family)
Site/ Context:
Empty lot close to town center by major road.
Challenges & Opportunities:
Separation and co-mingling of public versus private spaces. Artists' work space preference for northern/ indirect light.
Design considerations that will enhance security and traffic safety for young children.
One Entry, Two Realms:
Private vs Public;
Family home versus Artists' Studio.
